A graduate of ArtCenter College of Design, Scott has built an extensive career as a freelance children’s book illustrator, creating work for national publishers such as HarperCollins, Scholastic, Sterling, and St. Mary’s Press.
Drawing on more than 15 years of academic leadership, Scott is known for elevating programs through strategic vision and operational excellence. Holding an MFA and a certificate in Creative Leadership, he brings a design-focused, systems-thinking approach to leadership.
An engaging teacher and a lifelong student of the creative process, Scott has taught drawing, illustration, creativity, and leadership across colleges and universities, leadership organizations, regional associations, and national conferences.
