Seeing with the Eye of Faith

This character is depicting the first aspect of creative vision which is to envision the future (what could be) with an eye of faith. Using this aspect of creative vision, leaders engage their team to define what they really want. This clear picture of their goal will help them organize priorities and leverage structures to accomplish their vision. I am aware of a group of people in scripture who saw the object of their faith manifested before their eyes. They “truly saw with their (physical) eyes the things which they had (first) beheld with an eye of faith, and they were glad.” (Ether 12:19, Book of Mormon, p.509) In the leadership context, the eye of faith is what makes our vision of the future so tangible to our mind’s eye, that we can “see it” before it actually exists. We can envision the results we want with great clarity before we create them.
